Betway Promotes Brand Awareness with Sponsorship of Sports Endurance Event
Betway has partnered up with Total Warrior in a sports sponsorship deal ahead of this weekend's mud runner event in Cumbria, England. The event is expected to feature 5,000 competitors hitting the Total Warrior 10K course this weekend. This year, the Total Warrior Mud Run is one of five live engagement events for Betway. The online gambling brand will move from the virtual world to take to the course and mingle with audiences. In an attempt to promote brand awareness, Betway still has several additional events scheduled for the summer. Total Warrior will measure fitness and mental determination of participants who will need plenty of endurance to make it through five river crossings and 25 unique obstacles, including: The Human BBQ, which requires players to cross four foot flames; Grand National, requiring competitors to climb seven foot tall walls and The Shocker where folks will be expected to crawl through electrified wires. Images captured on the day will be available to view on the Betway Photo Wall on Betway's Facebook page as well as a prize draw. Bob Dutnall, executive director at Betway, said: “We feel this is a fantastic opportunity to engage with our audience of challenge-hungry individuals and look forward to seeing how Warriors tackle the course on the day.” Total Warrior works with various charitable organizations such as Help for Heroes, the Great North Air Ambulance and Prostate Cancer UK.
