Premier League: Paulinho set for Tottenham transfer
Brazil midfielder Paulinho is all set to undergo a medical at Tottenham ahead of his expected move from Corinthians for a fee of around 17 million pounds. Paulinho will also have a meeting with Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas and chairman Daniel Levy before agreeing on the terms of a four or five-year contract. The 24-year-old midfielder arrived in London on Thursday and his medical was scheduled to begin on Friday morning. Real Madrid have also shown interest in Paulinho, but he is now expected to move to White Hart Lane. Paulinho scored 34 goals in 167 games for Corinthians and played in Brazil's 3-0 win over Spain in the Confederations Cup final. Despite his young age he has already made 17 appearances for Brazil and scored five times, including goals in their 3-0 Confederations Cup win against Japan and the 2-1 semi-final victory over Uruguay. Tottenham are also said to be chasing Barcelona striker David Villa, who seems to want a move away from the Spanish champions due to his unsure first team status. You can bet on a David Villa transfer at SkyBet, here are the odds for a move before September 3rd: Tottenham - 1/7 Fiorentina - 15/2 Arsenal - 10/1 Liverpool - 33/1 Manchester City - 33/1
