Social Gaming Aspirations for Inplay Matrix
Following its social gaming plans, the Asian-facing InplayMatrix sportsbook platform inked an agreement with Bodugi from which it will get social gaming products to integrate into the platform. Thanks to the deal, Asian players will be able to play against one another on poker-style tables for cash prizes, with the games including a leaderboard which is updated in real time as sports events unfold, showing players how they are progressing. As for an internal social network, it involves notifications, friend list, and chat boards. Regarding the deal, Bodugi founder Dave Nevison said: “Asian markets have a well-documented passion for in-play betting, and we hope that the Bodugi model, which engages players throughout each sporting event, will really capture the interest of players here. We're excited to be working with such a well-recognised and trusted name in sports betting and we hope this will be a successful partnership for both companies.” It was added by Adrian Lee, Operations Director of InplayMatrix: “We have been keeping a close eye on social betting trends, and we are looking forward to working with Bodugi to integrate their real-cash social betting products onto the InplayMatrix platform.”
