Hilarious TV Ad from Paddy Power
The UK land and online gambling group Paddy Power plc has launched its latest television advert featuring the political eccentricity of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and his dark plans to support the Sunderland football club and its new manager, the controversial Paolo Di Canio. In the ad Kim Jong Un outlines his five point plan for Sunderland: 1) the explosive elimination of Southampton - a reference to the North Korean leader's pathological hatred of anything with "South" in the title; 2) lighting up the "Stadium of Light" with nuclear radioactivity; 3) goal scorers to adopt the raised arm salute made infamous in recent times by Di Canio, an admitted fascist. There are also points 4) one moment weeping interlude at Sunderland matches for Maggie Thatcher - demonstrated by footage of hysterical North Korean mourners at another funeral, and 5) a free dog meat pie for every Sunderland fan. It is almost certain that the 1,5 minute short ad will go viral on the internet.
