Political Elections to Be Included in Nevada Betting Offering?

The outcome of the US elections has always been a topic that triggered a lot of interest and speculations, and this will only enhance if the state of Nevada passes a new law that will allow wagering on the outcome of US elections. Now, according to state Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Tick Segerblom, who commenting on the introduction of bill SB418 to his committee, this bill seeks to permit intrastate betting on future US presidential elections, at the same time proposing pari-mutuel wagering on elections for president, U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives elections. He recommended the new bill, noting that Nevada needs to start thinking "outside the box," and adding that the presidential election outcome is probably the single most wagered on non-sporting event online. He concluded, saying that such wagering is offered by European bookmakers as well.
