FA Cup: Chelsea produce stunning comeback against Manchester United
Chelsea earned a well-deserved FA Cup quarter final replay as they pulled off an superb second half fightback to deny Manchester United at Old Trafford. The Red Devils looked set to win the match after getting early goals from Javier Hernandez and Wayne Rooney but Chelsea were a totally different team in the second half. Manager Rafael Benitez was booed by Chelsea fans when he replaced Lampard and Moses with Hazard and Obi Mikel after the break but Eden Hazard proved them wrong as he bagged a goal before Ramires pulled Chelsea level with a fine finish. Moreover, Chelsea nearly booked their place in the semi finals late on when United keeper David De Gea denied Juan Mata with a foot save. The home side took the lead after just five minutes when Michael Carrick played a superb long pass into the area to Hernandez who cleverly put it past Petr Cech. Things got even worse for Chelsea just seven minutes later as Rooney fired a free kick into the back of the net. United had a couple more chances through Rooney but Cech did well to keep the score intact but the Blues were unable to produce any danger at the other end of the pitch. Things didn't seem to change much after the break so Benitez decided to send in Hazard and Mikel for Lampard and Moses, prompting the Chelsea supporters to react with jeers as they chanted "You don't know what you're doing" and "We want our Chelsea back" in the direction of the interim manager. But it was Hazard who brought the Blues back into the game with a superb strike on the hour mark before Ramires made it all square on 67 minutes with a precise finish into the bottom corner of the net. Chelsea were in control of the match at that point and they nearly claimed the win when Juan Mata was denied by De Gea one minute from time. Chelsea will have to produce another turnaround in the Europa League this week as they face Steaua Bucharest on Thursday after losing the first leg 1-0. Despite that, the bookmakers have the Blues as favourites to qualify. Here are the "to qualify" odds at Bet365: Chelsea to qualify - 4/6 Steaua Bucharest to qualify - 6/5
