Paddy Power Releases Pun Warning About Tipsters
Following last week's denials issued by renowned bookie group Stan James about its association with tipster Dave Beddington Racing, this week online and land gambling group Paddy Power decided to play with the tipster genre. Therefore, the company issued a post on its Facebook wall about 'big Cheltenham race tips', along with a new television ad that makes a parody of dodgy tips and their often unreliable sources. The ad forms part of the company's 'We Hear You' campaign, and it presents the route of a mythical Cheltenham tip from a Facebook fan back to the room of a prison, accompanied with a sentence: “If you don't know where your tip started, its value is probably questionable”.
