Dutch Soccer Site Gets New Owner – Perform Group

A report came this week that the UK sports video streamer Perform Group has laid out an initial Euro 2 million for the acquisition of Dutch sports site Voetbalzone (.nl), with an additional Euro 10.5 million being conditional on EBITDA performance over the next three years. It has been specified by Oliver Slipper, joint CEO for Perform Group, that Voetbalzone attracts an average of two million unique users per month to its news from the world of football, which makes it the top independent sports site in The Netherlands. He also added that “The combination of Voetbalzone.nl, ePlayer and Perform Group's Goal.com/nl will position [Perform Group] as one of the leading players in the digital sports market in The Netherlands.”
