Tennis: Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer reach quarter finals in Dubai
Top seed Novak Djokovic and defending champion Roger Federer both made it to the last eight of the Dubai Championships with easy straight-sets wins in the second round. Djokovic extended his undefeated run to 15 matches with a 6-1 7-6 (7-4) win over Spain's Roberto Bautista-Agut. "I played a good match for an hour or so, but then I didn't stay committed to every point," said Novak Djokovic after the match. Roger Federer looked a lot more confident and focused than he had in his opening match, beating Spaniard Marcel Granollers 6-3 6-4. "It's something I have been trying my whole life, to be more aggressive," said Federer. The Swiss player had to fight back from a set down to beat wildcard Malek Jaziri in the first round. "I would like to serve-volley more, but I'm winning so it's OK. I was sharper. I had a more clear plan. I knew what I could and couldn't do." Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro breezed past India's Somdev Devvarman 6-4 6-4 to remain on track for a semi-final tie with Djokovic, while Tomas Berdych defeated Tobias Kamke of Germany 7-5 6-1 and he will most likely meet Federer in the last four. But until then they have to get past the quarter finals, here are the odds for all four matches at Bet365: Juan Martin Del Potro 1/7 vs Daniel Brands 9/2 Dmitry Tursunov 1/7 vs Tomas Berdych 1/12 Novak Djokovic 1/33 vs Andreas Seppi 14/1 Nikolay Davydenko 6/1 vs Roger Federer 1/10
