A partnership deal has been reached between the National Basketball Association (NBA) and digital sports media group PERFORM for the launch of designated German NBA site as an official destination for German fans.
The website will feature a variety of digital content such as a weekly game streamed live throughout the regular-season, Playoffs and Conference Finals, daily highlights from NBA games, as well as editorial produced by the Spox editorial team of expert NBA writers.
"This agreement with the NBA underlines PERFORM's credentials as a key partner to major sports federations looking to bring their sports to new, digital audiences. We are delighted to form this multiyear relationship with the NBA in a key European territory for them," said Oliver Slipper, joint chief executive officer of PERFORM in a comment on the deal.
