As part of its big branding expansion campaign, the European online gambling operator Betway will reportedly spend more than GBP10 million this year on a TV advertising campaign which will build its brand across Europe.
Of that amount, GBP 7.45 million will be invested in the UK, while the rest will go to Spain, Italy and Denmark, Betway's key target European markets.
In addition, it was specified that the company will launch the campaign across a variety of channels, including tabled and mobile, and will also feature on video-on-demand platforms, building on themes set out in Betway's debut campaign in 2012.
Betway spokesman on the occasion expressed belief that the TV advertising campaign is partly responsible for the growth in customers in the UK and that such success will be reflected in targeted European markets, as well.
The TV ad campaign joins other recent announcements made by the company, including those about its 3-year sponsorship of Trinity Mirror's Fantasy Football platform, its expansion into social gaming through a partnership with Clickfun Casino, and the acquisition of licensing in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein.
