A subsidiary of German gaming firm Gauselmann AG, online sports betting firm Cashpoint this week made it into news when it became a premium partner to the Deutsche Eishockey Liga's (DEL) top division.
The sponsorship deal it inked with DEL, a German professional ice hockey league, its logo will be featured on DEL player jerseys, and it will also benefit from other promotional and advertising opportunities.
According to Cashpoint CEO Michael Wondra, "The DEL is one of the most attractive indoor leagues in Europe with fantastic teams, players and fans. As a sports betting provider, we see ourselves as a responsible partner and sponsor of the sport. As part of the re-regulation of the German sports betting market our timely positioning in high-coverage sports is essential."
