Amaya Launches Virtual Horse Racing
The virtual horse racing services for two Quebec land casinos have been launched on Dec. 14 by the Canadian online gambling content provider Amaya Gaming. The two venues in question are Casino de Montréal and Casino du Lac-Leamy in Gatineau. Based on the deal, they will get Amaya's "Royal Grand Prix Derby" system, which will be placed in various other properties of the Société des Casinos du Québec, a subsidiary of the Province of Quebec's corporation Loto-Québec, responsible for operating and developing Québec's casinos. According to Amaya's VP of business development, Darcy Krogh, the service involves non-stop electronic racing action on the world's best tracks 24 hours a day to patrons of the casinos. "The Société des Casinos du Québec is recognised as an innovative casino operator and we're pleased to help them create even more exciting gaming destinations," he said. It was added by Luc Morin, director of new product development for the Société des Casinos du Québec: "We believe these solutions fit perfectly with our strategy of continuously offering the latest and most exciting entertainment experiences."
