Michael Jordan Practices with Bobcats
Michael Jordan appeared on the court during a Charlotte Bobcats' practice session on Tuesday. Could this be a sign of a comeback for the retired basketball legend? Jordan, 49, got involved for a few one-on-one drills. As the owner of a team who has lost 8 consecutive games, he was probably jumping in to boost morale. He worked with the team captain, Gerald Henderson and stud rookie, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist as Tyrus Thomas took it easy throwing entry passes due to an injury. Henderson had this to say about Air Jordan's game: “He's still got it. He can still shoot. I don't know about his defense, but he can still score. He's a basketball genius. But I don't know if he wants to see me in a couple of months.” Jordan was named the greatest athlete in North America back in 1999. We'd like to see Henderson compete with that. Come on, he's Michael Jordan. Overall, this may not be an indication of a comeback for Jordan but it was a nice thought.
