Is This the End for Brian Urlacher on the Chicago Bears?
After Jay Cutler being out of commission, the Chicago Bears are suffering yet another loss with Brian Urlacher. He may be required to miss the remainder of the regular season due to a recent hamstring injury. With a grade 2 right hamstring strain, Urlacher could be out of the game for 2, 3 or even 4 weeks. The future of Urlacher and the Chicago Bears is unclear but he does acknowledge that he may have played his final game with the team. "I do not think that's going to happen," he told the media. "But, if it does, I have had a really good and long career so I would be sad, but I would not be crushed." This season we've seen him slowed down by a knee injury and now he suffers from the hamstring injury. Nick Roach figures to move from strong side to middle linebacker with Geno Hayes the likely choice to start at strong side linebacker. The Bears have also brought linebacker Dom DeCicco aboard in a two-year deal on Tuesday. He played in 16 Chicago games during the last season and managed to come in second on the team with 17 special teams tackles.
