Another sponsorship deal has been nailed by UK-based betting firm Coral this week, making it the exclusive sponsor for ESPN's televised coverage of key European football leagues, including Italy's Serie A, Germany's Bundesliga, Netherlands' Eredivisie and France's Ligue 1, starting from December 2012.
The deal, effective Dec. 2012 will see Coral cover multi-platform disciplines and deliver a TV and online video branded "Euro Goals with Coral" and scheduled to be broadcast at ESPNFC and ESPN UK.
As for the TV coverage, Coral will be advertised on pre- and end-break TV bumpers on ESPN's live and preview/review shows dedicated to these league matches.
'This agreement reflects how we can deliver value to top-flight advertisers, connecting them with loyal and passionate football fans across multiple screens. Our multi-platform coverage of Europe's top football leagues is a popular part of the ESPN offering to fans and brands,' said Jehan Shah, associate director advertising sales at ESPN EMEA.
