Saints Egged by Falcons Fans
New Orleans players received a rather unwelcoming welcome when they arrived at the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta for Thursday's game at the Georgia Dome against the Falcons. According to team members of the Saints, airport employees were hurling eggs at their bus. Saints backup quarterback Chase Daniel tweeted, "Wow, as we're boarding buses on the Tarmac @ Atlanta airport, we start getting eggs thrown @ us by airport workers! Guess they do hate us!" Tight end Jimmy Graham tweeted, "Bus just got egged after landing in ATL by the ramp workers. Classy! "RISE Up" smh." The Saints have topped the rivalry by winning 11 of the last 13 games which included a New Orleans' 31-27 win on November 11, 2012. This ended up being the only loss suffered by the Falcons this year. Saints linebacker Scott Shanle told the press that the Falcons are "like our little brothers” after the game. There is certainly some hard feelings as the Falcons have lost their last three home games against the Saints. The last time the Falcons won at home against the Saints was back on November 9, 2008. Judging by this lovely display of affection, it seems that Falcons' fans are ready for change.
