Global Gaming Network Inc. has made major improvements to its fantasy sports website - Amped Fantasy - released to take advantage of the remainder of the NFL season, including playoff games and Super Bowl 2013.
The update offers: new features - favourite player pick and store, blog access providing information on player performance; promotions - freeroll contests for cash with no entry fee; and Facebook and Twitter tie-ins.
Stephen Kern, president of GBGM, said the Fantasy Sports Trade Association (FSTA) cites a $4 billion fantasy sports market in North America with future growth into the global market estimated to be worth between $12 and 15 billion.
FSTA has also revealed that fantasy sports participation has amazingly grown 60 percent over the past four years with 32 million players in the U.S. and Canada alone.
