New Snooker Sponsorship for Betfair

Thanks to a sponsorship deal with the World Snooker Masters, this major event in the world of snooker will be named the Betfair Masters and held in London from January 13 to 20. The championship will feature 16 top international snooker players and it will be extensively covered by BBC, which expects the event to be followed by 181 million viewers. This way, Betfair has extended its World Snooker relationship as it has already closed the deal to become the title sponsor of the Shoot-Out and the German Masters as well as a tour sponsor of the European Tour. We are already working with them on a range of tournaments so we know what a professional team they are and how much they value the outstanding global exposure they get from snooker," commented World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn.
