Two industry appointments were made this week – one at London-based Fantasy League Ltd and one at Australian Tatts.
The UK company has appointed experienced industry executive Simon Grieve to help build up the company's strategic development. He will be in charge of expanding the company's coverage globally, with a specific focus on online gaming.
Prior to this, Grieve served in a number of executive positions in companies from both the online gaming and gambling sectors, such as Talarius Plc, IGT and Wagerworks, VIS iTV, Global Interactive Gaming, The Irish Times and Firststake.
As for the other appointment, made by Australian gaming company Tatts Group Ltd, it has seen Robbie Cooke take up the position of the group's chief executive officer and managing director, effective January 2013. He will take over from Dick McIlwain, who also holds the position of chaiman at online travel company Wotif, where Cooke is currently employed as CEO.
