The international tender issued last year by the Israel Sports Betting Board (ISBB) for the supply of an internet betting system has been awarded to UK-based sports betting provider LVS Ltd in partnership with French lottery provider Lotsys SAS.
Based on the deal, which was inked at the end of July 2012, there is an option for extension to replace ISBB's overall betting system, for both retail and digital channels. Lotsys and LVS bid to the ISBB was the most comprehensive one, as it will provide the board with a multi-channel system based on sophisticated and open sports betting software.
In a comment on the tender award, Zach Fishbein, Chairman of ISBB said: "We have made the choice of the modernity and flexibility with LVS and Lotsys. We have chosen partners that will keep ISBB at the cutting edge of technology and help deliver nothing but the best service to our customers."
It was added by Pascal Blyau, FDJ Development Director and LVS Managing Director: "We are proud that our subsidiaries have convinced such a demanding customer, this demonstrates that the market is now asking for a new generation of solution."
