New identity for the popular brand
Players at Australian land and online bookie group Tabcorp will soon enjoy the fresh look of the corporate branding of its New South Wales and Victorian wagering brands - TAB.
Namely, the company is to align both the NSW TAB and Victorian TAB logos and change the color, bringing the NSW logo on its old green background and Victoria on its heritage blue.
Still, on the national level, there will be no change regarding the brand itself - it will still be known as TAB.
The activities on the new branding have already been initiated at the North Melbourne TAB agency on Aug. 20, but it will take a while before many of Tabcorp's 2800 retail outlets and 260 racing venues across both states get rebranded.
The activities will be accompanied by a series of TAB advertisements across all media types. It has been specified by Tabcorp CEO David Attenborough that 'The new logo unifies our brands, reflects our continued innovation and aims to create a closer and more emotional connection with our customers.
'We've embraced the opportunity to present a fresh and innovative face to the wagering marketplace for what is one of Australia's truly iconic brands,' he added.
