Radio Coverage for Online Betting Service
Saturday mid-morning sports show on Absolute Radio A nine-month deal has been closed between online betting and sports betting service Blue Square Bet and Absolute Radio for the 2012/2013 football season. The deal involves the popular 3-hour mid-morning Saturday show presented by Mark Crossley, who will host Blue Square's Alan Alger in the show every Saturday to discuss the day's betting and live odds from the biggest games including Absolute Radio's featured Barclays Premier League commentary fixture with Jim Proudfoot. It has been specified that sponsor credits in Crossley's show will compliment network-wide promotional projects. The companies also added that their partnership will include a lot of online activity, such as a dedicated micro-site at Absolute Radio's UK domain. In addition Blue Square Bet's strap line 'Enough Said. Just Bet' will be driven via messaging, which will also promote its brand online, via tablet or on mobiles to interact with show hosts and presenters. According to Jonathan Sykes, marketing manager for Blue Square Bet, “The Absolute Radio brand has established a strong identity of entertaining football fans every Saturday. “We hope to add to the build-up by giving listeners the inside track on our latest offers and prices as well as inviting them to join our campaign to out the nonsense in football. As a no-nonsense brand that gets people straight to the bet we believe we've got a lot in common with Absolute Radio's approach and look forward to working with them.”
