Olympics organizer backs off
It appears that the threats of legal action from Paddy Power were effective – the latest report about its confrontation with London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) asserts that the Olympics organizers have withdrawn their order to remove the Irish bookie's controversial advertising from billboards in London City.
It was stated by a Paddy Power spokesperson: "The athletes of London, France will be breathing a collective sigh of relief this afternoon. May the Games begin!"
