Tabcorp Gets Financial Injection

GST refund to get it A$14.3 million An announcement came this week from Tabcorp CFO Damien Johnston that the company's claim for refunds of Goods and Services Tax (GST) has been approved by the Australian Taxation Office. Thanks to this, Tabcorp will get A$14.3 million after tax for the half year ending 31 December 2012, in the names of the refunds related to GST paid between May 2006 and March 2010 on wagering turnover derived from overseas based customers.
