Two-year probation for Wright
The sentencing of Darren Wright, head of the now defunct online gambling operation BetED has been handed down by Maryland District Court Judge Catherine C. Blake, who condemned Wright to two years of probation.
Wright pleaded guilty to the charges of conducting an illegal gambling business. His indictment stood along that of David Parchomchuk (who co-operated with authorities in return for lesser charges) and Ann Marie Puig in Case 1:11-cr-00238-CCB - USA v. Thrillx Systems, Ltd. et al.
