The reigning champions are on course for defending their title but they will face the toughest opponent yet at Euro 2012 in the semi finals: Portugal.
Here are the probable line ups:
Rui Patricio - Pereira, Pepe, Alves, Coentrao - Moutinho, Veloso, Meireles - Nani, Almeida, Ronaldo
Casillas - Arbeloa, Ramos, Pique, Alba - Busquets, Alonso - Silva, Xavi, Iniesta - Torres
Both teams are coming off the back of three consecutive wins at Euro 2012 after having a less convincing opening, when Portugal lost to Germany and Spain drew with Italy.
Portugal boss Paulo Bento has to make a change in his team after striker Helder Postiga suffered a thigh injury against Czech Republic, and will be replaced by Hugo Almeida or Nelson Oliveira in the starting eleven. The rest of the line up will probably remain unchanged, with Real Madrid's men as the team's backbone: Pepe, Fabio Coentrao and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Spain are undefeated at Euro 2012 but the media have not been too impressed by the reigning champions so far, labeling their display as 'boring'. Coach Vicente Del Bosque doesn't seem to care too much about that as he will probably use the same line up that he utilized against France, with Cesc Fabregas as a 'false nine'. There is also the possibility of using Fernando Torres as a striker from the start of the game.
Here are the odds for the game from Bet365:
Portugal - 16/5
Draw - 9/4
Spain - 1/1
