Malta-based Nordic Gaming Group shares worth approximately EUR 65 million
All required regulatory approvals have been issued for the acquisition of the Malta-based Nordic Gaming Group by the internet online gambling group Betsson AB from Sweden. The deal includes also the three Nordic subsidiaries specialized for sportsbook, casino and poker games - NordicBet, Tobet and Triobet.
The Swedish company purchased all shares in NordicBet for a consideration of approximately Euro 65 million to be paid out partially in cash and partially through a new issue of 217,974 series B shares to be available solely to the Nordic Gaming Group.
Depending on the development of the acquisition throughout 2012, an additional purchase price may become payable amounting up to Euro 20 million maximum.
