Ukraine must win in order to progress to the knockout stage of Euro 2012 but they might have to do that without star man Andriy Shevchenko after he missed training. On the other hand, England will have Rooney on the pitch for the first time at Euro 2012.
Here are the probable line ups:
Hart - Johnson, Terry, Lescott, Cole - Gerrard, Parker - Walcott, Rooney, Young - Welbeck
Pyatov - Husyev, Mikhalik, Khacheridi, Selin - Tymoshchuk - Yarmolenko, Nazarenko, Konoplyanka - Voronin, Shevchenko
Wayne Rooney has completed his two-match suspension and is likely to team up with Danny Welbeck in attack, even though Andy Carroll could also represent a solution. Theo Walcott could also be given a starting berth after his excellent performance as a substitute against Sweden. If selected, Walcott will replace James Milner, who could be moved to the left flank to replace Ashley Young who didn't have the best of tournaments so far.
Andriy Shevchenko is a serious doubt due to a knee injury but the medical staff will try to do their absolute best to ensure that Ukraine's star will play in this decisive match. If things don't work out with Shevchenko then he might be replaced by Artem Milevskiy or Marko Devic.
England have met Ukraine twice in competitive fixtures, with the two sides winning one match each during qualification for the 2006 World Cup.
Here are the match odds from Bet365:
England - 6/5
Draw - 23/10
Ukraine - 5/2
