New service at Irish land and online gambling group
As usual, Paddy Power has recently become a pioneer in one other area of online gaming - it is the first online bookmaker to stream horse racing from Latin America, thanks to an agreement it has closed with SIS.
According to a SIS spokesman, the company launched the evening service on its SIS+ betting shop channel recently and has around 1,200 sites showing racing from Chile, Argentina and Uruguay.
After a trial period, Paddy Power is now offering the live streaming service, comprises of almost 4,000 races a year, offering its digital customers the chance to view them via its website.
The live streams come from Valparaiso, Hipodromo Chile and Club Hipico Santiago racetracks in Chile; La Plata and San Isidro in Argentina; and Maronas in Uruguay.
According to Brent Dolan, SIS director of operations, 'There has been a great response to Latin American racing, both in the shops and now online. We're always looking for ways to add quality thoroughbred horse racing and a further step towards that is providing this live stream.
'We're delighted to be working with Paddy Power who have provided valuable feedback in helping us shape the service. They were using the service across their retail estate and online was a logical next step for them.'
