The Dutch will look to recover from their surprise loss to Denmark against Germany. In fact, they have to recover if they want to reach the knockout stage. Germany, on the other hand, could book their place in the quarter finals with a win in Kharkiv.
Here are the probable line ups:
Stekelenburg - Van der Wiel, Heitinga, Mathijsen, Willems - N De Jong, Van Bommel - Robben, Sneijder, Afellay - Huntelaar
Neuer - Boateng, Hummels, Badstuber, Lahm - Khedira, Schweinsteiger - Muller, Ozil, Schurrle - Gomez
Netherlands are welcoming back veteran defender Joris Mathijsen who has recovered ahead of Wednesday's crucial Euro 2012 battle with Germany. The entre-back missed the 1-0 defeat to Denmark with a hamstring problem and he will probably replace Ron Vlaar at the heart of the defence. Wesley Sneijder should be fit despite suffering a minor knock, while coach Bert van Marwijk might choose Klaas-Jan Huntelaar in the starting line up ahead of Robin van Persie.
On the other hand, Joachim Low has no injury problems to worry about and a lot less pressure as well after winning the first game against Portugal. The Germany boss has competition problems in his squad though, as Andre Schurrle, Marco Reus and Mario Gotze are all eager to get starting berths, replacing either Lukas Podolski or Thomas Muller.
Here are the match odds from Bet365:
Netherlands - 2/1
Draw - 12/5
Germany - 7/5
