The Poles will be looking (again) to earn their first-ever European Championship finals victory but they might be up against it as Russia produced a superb display to beat Czech Republic 4-1 in their first match at Euro 2012.
Here are the probable line ups:
Tyton - Piszczek, Wasilewski, Perquis, Boenisch - Murawski, Polanski - Blaszczykowski, Obraniak, Rybus - Lewandowski
Malafeev - Anyukov, Igna'vich, A.Berezutskiy, Zhirkov - Shirokov, Denisov, Zyryanov - Dzagoev, Kerzhakov, Arshavin
After their 1-1 draw against Greece in the opening match of Euro 2012 on Friday, Poland will have to do without Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, who was sent off for a professional foul. Przemyslaw Tyton will get the place between the sticks after saving a penalty kick from Giorgos Karagounis to earn his team a point against Greece. Apart from that change, coach Franciszek Smuda is expected to name the same starting eleven.
Following their thrilling 4-1 win over Czech Republic, Russia are not likely to make any changes as they are looking for a second consecutive win that would virtually book their place in the quarter finals.
Here are the match odds from Bet365:
Poland - 4/1
Draw - 9/4
Russia - 11/8
