Two Way in mobile deals with Betfair and Sportingbet in Australia
A new development is in the pipeline and actively prepared by Aussie interactive TV application developer Two Way, which will soon go live with a new betting app across Samsung's range of internet-enabled TVs, smartphones, tablets, Blu-ray players and home theatre systems.
The company has already entered exclusive agreements with major Australian operators Sportingbet and Betfair for the product, and its spokesmen revealed that the Sportingbet application is already live on most Samsung devices, while the Betfair application is waiting for a final regulatory approval.
Thanks to the app, punters will be able to place their bets via their TV remote controls on all sports events broadcast by free-to-air TV, pay TV, or any form of IPTV.
As for the deal between Samsung and Two Way, the two companies have agreed on a revenue sharing arrangement for all revenue generated via Two Way's wagering applications.
