Finance and Justice Ministers submit a proposal
This week, a sports betting proposal submitted to the Belgian Cabinet by Finance Minister Steven Vanackere and Justice Minister Annemie Turtelboom was approved, moving forward to the Conseil d'Etat, Belgium's Supreme Administrative Court for approval.
The bill proposes to allow the Belgian National Lottery to apply for a F1 licence in order to operate sports betting along with other private operators in the country.
