Internet cricket betting not welcome in India
It's a week of raids in India, where the Bangalore police conducted another bust, pursuing illegal online bookies taking bets on cricket matches.
On the occasion, which took place at the Hotel Rajmahal Comfort, two online bookies were arrested and 34 mobile phones, a laptop and a substantial amount of cash confiscated.
It has been stated by a police spokesman that further investigations showed that the booking activity had spread beyond the city limits, thus leading to the arrest of one of the two bookies and seizure of more cash, which the accused was busy distributing after the IPL match results.
