The Saracens official website has confirmed that attempts to pull Andy Farrell over to England as part of Stuart Lancaster's backroom staff have failed.
Farrell won over Stuart Lancaster and Graham Rowntree during the RBS Six Nations with England crowned runners-up after wins against Scotland, Italy, France and Ireland against the odds.
Although the arrangement was not meant to become the permanent future of the team, Lancaster took the spot for head coach while Farrell will not be making a move.
Farrell will remain in his position as First Team Coach at Saracens will not be accepting any other position in rugby union stating: 'It has been a special privilege for me to be involved in the Saracens coaching staff for the past two-and-half seasons. We have made decent progress during this period but, in truth, as a club, we have barely scratched the surface of our potential. The job isn't anywhere near half done, and I have decided I want to help finish the job.'
The search for additions to Lancaster's staff will continue. RFU Chief Executive, Ian Ritchie, had this to say: "Whilst Andy was clearly an important part of the coaching team during the course of the RBS Six Nations, we fully respect his wishes to continue as a coach at Saracens. We will continue to work hard with Stuart Lancaster to build a world-class coaching team as we look towards the Rugby World Cup in 2015."
