South America’s Popularity Grows among Online Gambling Businesses
Inspired enters the market The latest novelty from server-based gaming provider Inspired Gaming Group is that it has closed a virtual sports games provision deal with Mexico's Grupo Caliente, which will see virtual horse racing, greyhound racing, soccer, speedway and motor racing transmitted to Caliente venues via satellite, and underpin the initial offering with opportunity to expand across mobile and online platforms in the future. The deal includes licensed operations in thirteen countries across South America, specified Steve Rogers, managing director for Virtual Sports at Inspired, adding: “Caliente is the leading entertainment company in Mexico and this partnership has enabled us to establish our virtual sports products in a significant new territory. Caliente's broadcasting capabilities have opened up a number of brand new markets, which means that we are now live in 33 countries and licensed in a further 10. “Latin America and Asia are key strategic markets for us in 2012 and to establish a partnership with one of the key operators in Latin America is a major achievement.” “We're really excited to provide Inspired's virtual sports to our customers,” added Victor de la Fuente, wagering corporate director at Caliente. “Sports betting is very popular in many Latin American countries and we know the quality of the graphics and range of sports will be a winning combination in our casino sportsbooks. This proves our commitment to continually provide our patrons and partners with the best available products and services,” he concluded.
