South American Soccer Deal for Perform

The group reinstates its position in Americas soccer

A new sponsorship deal has been closed by digital sports media group PERFORM in the South American market - the one with South American rights agency Full Play Group S.A. (Full Play), thanks to which another 900 South American soccer matches will be added to its services each year of its initial three and a half years of duration.

The deal involves the leading leagues in Bolivia, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay and Peru and provides PERFORM with access to other Full Play managed sports rights in the Americas, boosting the offering of PERFORM's America's soccer portfolio, which at the moment covers 1800 matches per year, including: Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana and Copa do Brasil, the Brazilian, Chilean and Mexican leagues, MLS and all CONCACAF zone international federation friendly 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches, as well as the Gillette Brazil World Tour.

According to Simon Denyer, joint chief executive officer of PERFORM, "We are delighted to build on our relationship with Full Play. The Full Play team continue to develop a very strong business and content portfolio that we believe will work extremely well across our digital products and services."

On the other side, Mariano Jinkis, chief executive officer of Full Play said: "We are also delighted to enhance our relationship with PERFORM who we view as the world's leading sports digital media experts. Furthermore, we are honoured to exploit the league rights of our South American Federation partners leagues into new territories and via new mediums. Full Play is continually seeking ways to help its federation partners commercially exploit their rights and gain maximum exposure and this deal with PERFORM assists in this strategy."
