Multiple Google Chrome applications have been developed by sports media firm PERFORM in order to integrate into them sports content across Google platforms and YouTube channels for its LIVESPORT and Goal websites.
The company claims this will truly be a breath of fresh air for its users, as the new developments will bring live, highlights and sports news video content to them. It has also been specified that the content will be advertisement-funded, and that some of the content events will be available in the US as a paid live stream.
In addition, PERFORM has introduced over 20 applications for the Chrome Web Store for clients such as Chelsea, Newcastle, the WTA and TennisTV.
According to Simon Denyer, joint-CEO of PERFORM, "PERFORM is the leading provider of multi-platform sports content and we are delighted to extend the reach of our content across the YouTube and Google Chrome platforms.
"The LIVESPORT.tv and Goal.com channels will allow fans of all sports to watch what they want, when they want it. We are delighted to work with such an influential partner and look forward to working even more closely with Google and YouTube in the future".
