Betezy Breaches Contract?
Aussie's Newcastle Knights initialize legal action in pursuit of bet percentage payments A report arrived this week of a legal action initiated by Australian professional rugby league football club the Newcastle Knights, which accused online gambling firm Betezy of non-payment of contractual obligations. Apparently, the two parties closed a three-year sponsorship deal in 2009, in which they agreed that a percentage of every bet placed on knightsbet.au over and above the A$100 000 annual sponsorship fee will be paid, which has not happened, according to the Knights. So far, no comment has arrived from the Newcastle Knights chief executive Steve Barraston regarding the pending legal action.
