Swedish mobile provider supplies mobile sportbook to Aussie sports betting giant
A partnership deal between Australian online betting giant Sportsbet and Swedish mobile provider Mobenga has come to fruition this week with the launch of a new mobile sportsbook that features a suite of mobile offerings available to iPhone, iPad and Android device users.
This state-of-the-art mobile solution will certainly be of much use to Sportsbet, whose demand for such products from its end consumers has significantly bloomed.
As it has been specified by Raymond Smit, mobile manager at Sportsbet: "With smartphone penetration in the Australian market at 37 percent and growing, developing a mobile platform to suit this demand became our top priority. We were very impressed with the work Mobenga has provided to European betting companies and partnering with such a leading mobile development house was the obvious choice."
It was added by the company CEO, Cormack Barry: 'We've already seen fantastic growth since going live with this new product, with more than a quarter of our customers now enjoying our mobile betting platform. We will continue to invest heavily in the mobile betting space as we strive to provide our customers with an unrivalled mobile betting experience'
On the other side, Barry's Mobenga counterpart, Christian Rajter, opined: 'The teams of both Sportsbet and Mobenga have been working very hard to deliver the most advanced and comprehensive client in the world for the Spring Carnival and have done a fantastic job! This is only the beginning of an extremely exiting journey and we look forward to together pushing the limits of the mobile media. '
