IGT and Betfred Close Partnership Deal
More games for Betfred customers A report arrived this week that the UK bookmaker Betfred and International Game Technology's (IGT) have closed a deal that will see Betfred move over to IGT's rgs platform, thereby enabling its customers to enjoy an enlarged games suite, including titles such as Elvis, Star Trek, Da Vinci Diamonds and Monopoly. The deal comes in light of the recent revamp of Betfred's website in cooperation with London-based firm Aqueduct. The updated site features redesigned looks, at the same time allowing players to personalize the layout of various games and promotions on offer. According to Chris Sheffield, managing director of Betfred, "Games are a key focus area for the company and we are committed to continually improving the player experience on the site. "As we are licensed in Gibraltar, it was an easy decision to make the move over to the IGT rgs platform and boost our selection of market-leading games." On the other side, Interactive IGT Vice President Alex Kelly said: "We are delighted that Betfred.com has become the first of our partners to be serviced from our new office and data centre in Gibraltar."
