Cellectivity gets the Apple approval
A report arrived this week from Cellectivity that its Bet2Go application has received Apple approval, so it will now be available in the iTunes online store in the United Kingdom.
According to a company spokesman, the approval is "a major breakthrough....which took into account the requirements of the legislative environment in the UK and ensured that Bet2Go and its partners had all the applicable licenses."
The sportsbetting application will enable users to place bets only where they are physically located within the country, due to the use of the geo-restriction capabilities built into the operating system. It is expected that the application will soon be available in more places.
The application also enables punters to compare prices and place a bet across a range of the world's top online bookmakers - Ladbrokes, Blue Square, Paddy Power, Skybet, BoyleSports, and William Hill among them.
A comment also arrived from Marcel Puyk, CEO of Cellectivity: 'I am delighted to finally be able to offer our users the full range of supported mobile devices, including a native app on the Apple platform. We have been working on mobile betting since the very beginning, starting with SMS in 2002 and have migrated ever since to the latest available mobile platforms, culminating in what is arguably the best yet for mobile betting in Apple's operating system and device range. Now our iPhone, iPod and iPad users will be able to enjoy our service in the most convenient way.'
