Investors organization sets the alert
The shareholders in online betting exchange Betfair this week received and “amber-top” alert from UK investors' organization, The Association of British Insurers, which refers to the company's long term incentive plan (LTIP).
In addition, concerns have been expressed that the company's annual report “does not define the targets the company needs to reach before its executives are eligible to earn future awards/incentives.”
On the other side, a Betfair spokesman explained: "The company is still in discussions with the ABI. This is still a draft recommendation."
