Sep 03, 2011
Bigger offering for French operator This week's news from the French online gaming market involve reports that France's third largest casino group JOAGROUPE's has received online gambling regulator ARJEL's approval for its online subsidiary JOAONLINE to operate online horse race betting and online fixed odds sports betting. This extension of the company's online horserace betting offering is granted under the condition that the company may not offer skill games on the horserace betting dedicated website. The ARJEL approval comes after JOAONLINE closed a deal with France-Pari, which will enlarge JOAONLINE's existing sports betting offering by fixed odds and live betting offering as of September 2011. Based on the deal, France-Pari will supply the platform software, manage the bets and the associated odds and risk control.
