Futurebet Associate Reappears Using Cover-Up?

Aug 11, 2011
Suspicious new arrival Many sportsbooks have shut their door this month, but some magically reappeared to exploit the situation and take over as many players as possible. 'Some' means TopBet.com, a new sportsbook which claims to have connections with the Tech Power Group in Tortola, BVI but is instead believed to be physically located in the Philippines, operating from the country where sports betting is an illegal pastime, and providing online casino action powered by the Alderney-approved Beast Gaming. However, recent revelations allege that the site is actually supported by Filipino and Chinese investors who have allegedly provided $1.5 million for a related online gambling services outfit in Manila titled World Hub Services.com. In addition, the site's contact section provides phone numbers which are the same as those of a low-rated sportsbook branded Feltstars. Feltstars is famous for its connection with the notorious Futurebet-Gametech-IGS software trio and the men alleged to be behind it, American Joe LaCascia and Canadian Noel Samson. It has also been reported that the man behind the TopBet site is actually Samson, who still owes a lot of money to Canadian investors in another project, and who prior to this announced that he had found a solution to the current problem of finding e-cash processing for US gambler deposits… but either kept it to himself or realized he was a bit rash with the announcement. However, having in mind that $1.5 million is less than enough to start a good sportsbook operation, his latest project is at the moment far from promising. Whether he will make it this time, it remains to be seen.
