Twelve months to develop first virtual tennis event in the industry
A wonderful and tempting novelty has been introduced by virtual sports developer and supplier Inspired Gaming Group (Inspired), that all tennis fans will find extremely appealing. Namely, it's a new Virtual Tennis, which will complement the existing offering of Ispired's portfolio that already contains horse racing, football, motor racing and cycling.
The development of the new content took 12 months, and involved a big team of engineers. Using motion capture techniques, they filmed two of Britain's prominent tennis players in a specially designed venue with sixty cameras that captured each individual movement to create realistic animation.
The new offering also includes an in-run betting option, a new feature to Virtual Sports, that follows the trend of live betting and allows customers to place, set and match bets during play.
It has been specified by a company spokesperson that the new product already attracted three sportsbooks whose names remain undisclosed.
