New Management Member Hired by Betfair

Robinson new Emering Markets Director In an attempt to boost growth internationally, online betting exchange Betfair created an emerging markets position, which will be headed by Matt Robinson, it was announced this week. It has further been specified that as an Emerging Markets Director, Robinson will focus on the management and growth of the company's commercial emerging markets strategy. Prior to this position, Robinson worked as Central Marketing Director at Bwin.party Digital Entertainment plc. In Betfair, he will report to Niall Wass, Betfair's Chief Commercial Officer, who on this occasion stated: "The creation of this role is further testimony to Betfair's international aspirations and I am delighted to have Matt on board. Matt will play a vital role within the commercial function as we aim to position Betfair for entry into new countries and territories around the world."
