Will White Label Deal Bring Redbet in the Red?

Legal action initiated against white label provider It was reported over the week that white label provider Redbet Holding AB is facing a serious lawsuit in Sweden, filed by the owner of the now-defunct online poker site Next Poker.com, Abbantina Malta Limited. The original complaint dates back to 2008, and it was initiated after Abbantina cancelled a 'white-label' agreement with provider Redbet Limited. Based on the latest suit, however, the plaintiff is asking from Redbet to settle a debt of Euro 747,991 as well as the interest awarded to Abbantina on October 25 by the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. It is claimed in the suit that the subsidiary had not fulfilled its contractual obligations and 'did not constitute an independent business as all relevant functions were integrated with Redbet Holding'. “Since Redbet Limited in addition has proven unwilling and unable to settle its debt, Abbantina has filed this lawsuit with the Stockholm District Court,” it was stressed in a public statement made by Abbantina.
