New interactive division already lucrative
An announcement came this week that pool and tote the US Balmoral Racing Club and Maywood Trotting Association awarded a contract for provision of interactive products and services to betting supplier Sportech PLC's interactive division Sportech Racing (formerly Scientific Games Racing), which will from June 2011 provide an online wagering platform, interactive voice response betting system, technical support, customer service, full service marketing and a players reward component.
In addition, it was also reported that the firm's e-Gaming business, in a single platform - single wallet approach, will be transferring its customers and products to Playtech gaming software starting from June. The process is expected to last through to the final quarter of the year.
